Coursing through the Delaware River headwaters, kayaking through five different stretches of this majestic waterway is always a treat for the mind, body and soul. Great paddling mixed with spectacular scenery, paired with a hands-on expertise led by long-time guide and outdoor-specialist, Paul Mang, Mike Brennan, and other experienced guides that are licensed outfitters. Each float is tailored for all ages and skill levels. This serene stretch of one of our nation’s cleanest and most iconic rivers comes alive through nature at its very best, with routine sightings of bald eagles, stops at quiet swimming holes on blooming riverbanks, and majestic photo opportunities around every bend. Lifelong Sports makes kayaking the beautiful upper Delaware a reoccurring adventure trek at Camp Watonka each and every year.
Mountain Bike Trips
As with all of Camp Watonka’s guided adventure treks, Lifelong Sports fully equips and boasts access to Wayne County’s Rails to Trails program. Hailed as some of the most picturesque and best dirt-road biking around, cyclists will encounter the beauty and tranquility of Vermont right here in rural northeastern Pennsylvania. Encountering wildlife, waterfalls, rolling brooks and panoramic farms, Rails to Trails, along with all of the guided trail-riding and mountain biking with Lifelong Sports and Camp Watonka is geared for all ages and skill levels. It is a must for anyone who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.

In the winter months when the beauty of northeastern Pennsylvania is blanketed by snow, the state’s many parks and trails are transformed into a brand new outdoor experience while adventure trekking by snowshoe. Provided with custom and state-of-the-art Atlas snowshoes, the landscape and wildlife within takes on another level of scenic elegance and overall fulfillment that only a trek through the woods in winter can bring. As Guide: Paul Mang can attest, many of his clients embarking on snowshoeing for the first time fall in love with the peace and serenity of this wonderful activity and have continued on shoeing through years that followed.
With over 25 years experience as licensed outfitters in accordance with both state and national parks, Camp Watonka and Life Long Sports are fully insured and provide all of the expertise, gear and equipment for each of their adventure sports. Guiding for corporate groups, educational programs with schools, camps, and, organized treks with the general public, Paul Mang and his team of highly skilled, knowledgeable and certified men and women are, in a sense, rock stars of the outdoors. As he will tell you: a love of nature and a willingness to learn about the outdoors is one of the essential building blocks in laying a strong and happy foundation for the rest of your life.
